Seventh Annual Cougar Pride Days Set for March 26-April 6, 2008

PULLMAN, Wash. — The seventh annual Cougar Pride Days has been set by Washington State University and the City of Pullman.

The spring cleaning and sprucing up event will be held March 26-April 6. During those dates, volunteers — university and community members – will plant flowers, shrubs, trees, spread bark and more on the WSU campus and around the city of Pullman said Pam Hilliard, who chairs the Cougar Pride Days planning committee.

Opening and closing ceremonies will both start at 12:30 p.m. on March 26 and April 9 respectively. Pine Street Plaza, part of the Downtown Pullman Riverwalk, will be the opening site. WSU’s Terrell Mall will be the closing site, with Terrell Library in case of bad weather.
