Regents, Trustees of Public Universities to Meet with Governor

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Board of Regents of Washington State University will attend a special meeting Monday (Dec. 3) with Gov. Christine Gregoire and the regents and trustees of the four-year public institutions in the State of Washington.

The meeting will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Governor’s Mansion in Olympia. (Gov. Gregoire will join from 1 to 2 p.m. only.)

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the role of higher education in P-12 math and science education in the State of Washington. The regents do not expect to take action on any matter at this meeting.
