PULLMAN, Wash.–In the first concert of the Washington State University School of Music Faculty Artist Series this fall, professor Julie Anne Wieck, soprano, will present a recital at 8 p.m. Sept. 14 in Bryan Hall Theatre.
Entitled “An Evening of American Art Song,” this performance will include some of the most well-known composers and works in the American art song repertoire, represented by Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein, Libby Larsen and George Gershwin.

The Music Faculty Artist Series is in its second year of existence. It was created to develop more scholarship funding for students in music at WSU. Admission is free to WSU students with ID, $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and other students.
