VANCOUVER,
According to HRCI, the certification signifies that “they possess the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field.” HRCI is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest organization dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession.
“It is a pretty big deal for HR professionals and required a lot of studying,” said Randy Boose, director of Human Resources at WSU Vancouver. “The pass rate is less than 65%, and they both did it on the first try.”
“This will keep me current of new developments in the profession which I can directly apply to my work here,” said Currie. “I’ve gained more in-depth knowledge in all areas of Human Resource Management.”
“I believe the journey of preparing for and taking the test truly led to my development as a Human Resource professional, and will allow me to better serve customers,” said Sain.
