Students Offer Perspectives on Cars in “Visions of the Road”

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Students at Washington State University Vancouver will give a presentation of readings and images about the road and automobiles in American society.

“Visions of the Road” takes place 4 to 6 p.m. April 15 in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Donations of canned food will be accepted for local food banks and refreshments will be served. The event is the last of the “Literacies for a Changing World” series at WSU Vancouver.

WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205, or via C-Tran Bus service. Parking is available in metered spaces and in the Blue Lot for $3 per day. WSU Vancouver offers 16 bachelor’s degrees, nine master’s degrees, one doctorate degree and more than 35 fields of study.
