VANCOUVER, Wash. 4-H Teen-Works, a cooperative effort between Washington State University Vancouver, WSU Extension, and Washington State 4-H, is now accepting applications for summer program opportunities for teens ages 12 to 18.
May 19 – Noon to 4 p.m., kick-off event at Big Al’s
May 26 Field trip to explore downtown
June 2 Teen service learning project, Portland Zoo
June 20 Half-day bicycle trip,
June 30 Survivor Day
June 25, July 30, Aug. 27 6 to 8 p.m., last Monday of the month family game nights at WSU Vancouver
July Barbecue and fun day, WSU Vancouver, date to be determined
Teen-Works members can also attend the State Leadership Conference at WSU Pullman, June 24 – 26.

The Center for Youth Workforce Preparation will also be offering the Preparation and Career Exploration PACE academy for middle and high school students, Aug. 6 10. Details will be released after June 1.
