VANCOUVER, Wash. — A collection of work from artist Sorcha Meek, titled “Transitions,” will be on display in the Washington State University Vancouver Engineering Life Sciences Building gallery April 18 through June 24.
The exhibit title refers to both micro- and macro-level transitions and will deal with physical, mental and spiritual transitions. Meek’s background is unique, as she has spent much of her life living in

This year marks the eighth annual student exhibition at WSU Vancouver. Instructors for the classes are Harrison Higgs and Luz Maria Gordillo.
“Not only do they create art, but students enrolled in the digital technology and culture program at WSU Vancouver also learn the historical, cultural and practical impacts of digital media, as well as skills for Web authoring and design, digital imaging and Web research,” said Higgs, assistant professor for the digital technology and culture program.
