WSU Vancouver Film Students Present Annual Screening

VANCOUVER, Wash – Pavithra Narayanan’s Documentary Film Theory & Production Class at Washington State University Vancouver eill present the fifth annual screening of student films from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in the Student Services Building auditorium, Room 110.

The event is free and open to the public, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.

This year’s films are:

* Rich Town, Poor Town – Adam Aguilera, Bob Urell and John Hughes

* Avenue for Opportunity – Mathew Hope

* Landfills: Problems and Solutions – Amanda Hewitt and Jessie Brown

* Initiative 901: Is 25 feet too far? – Michael Lee

* Smoke and Mirrors – Marina Delon and Rosalyn Hart

*Sectional Controversy – Matt Hagan

*American Epidemic – Lindsey Njaa and Zack Williky

*The other side of Immigration – Alice Webber

*Sam’s Movie – Sam Russ
