Press Conference with Top Education Officials Scheduled Prior to Hearing

WHO: Washington state Rep. Bill Fromhold; Ann Daly, Executive Director of Washington Learns. Washington Learns brings together a diverse group of business, community, education, government and minority leaders from all corners of our state dedicated to transforming our education system. Through the use of advisory committees in early learning, K-12 and higher education, Washington Learns’ work draws on the expertise and experience of some of our best and most creative thinkers. As the steering committee chair, Governor Christine Gregoire is personally involved in both the process and the decision–making.

WHAT: Washington Learns is hosting a public hearing on the Draft Report. The Draft Report for Public Comment consists of eight initiatives, each involving all sectors of the system. A copy of the Draft Report, as well as Guidelines for Public Testimony, can be found at https://www.washingtonlearns.wa.gov. All are invited to attend and give live testimony.
