VANCOUVER,
On display will be photographs captured and printed digitally, as well as hand-pulled prints, including intaglio, lithography and screen prints. Harrison Higgs, assistant professor of Fine Arts, organizes the show each year drawing from two Fine Arts classes. This year, the participating students are from the Digital Photography class and the Print-Based Media class.
A second group show with works displaying the artistic talents of the Battle Ground Art Alliance will be on display April 4 through May 19 in the WSU Vancouver Engineering Life Sciences Building gallery. The exhibit features paintings, photography, woodwork, painted gourd work and ceramics. An opening reception will be held on April 4, 5-6 p.m. in the gallery and the community is invited to attend.

Entry to the exhibits is free. WSU Vancouver galleries are open weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
