Originally called “Campus Days,” it was a time in the school’s early days when trees were planted, sidewalks built and the appearance of the campus improved. It helped establish school spirit and Cougar pride.
This year’s projects will include general sprucing up of the grounds, trail work, abelia planting and classroom and office cleaning, to name just a few. Community volunteers and local alumni are welcome to get involved.
Spanning over two days, Cougar Pride Days will kick-off with a pizza feed and parade March 30 and close March 31 with the 2nd Cougar Pride BBQ, a celebration of Cougar Pride for everyone who participates.
“This year’s Cougar Pride Days activities exemplify the true spirit of the faculty, staff and students of WSU Vancouver as we work together to enhance our campus facilities and show our pride in our university,” said Hal Dengerink, WSU Vancouver Chancellor.
WSU Vancouver offers 15 bachelors and nine master’s degrees in over 35 fields of study. The campus is located at
