Art by WSU Alum on Display at WSU Intercollegiate College of Nursing

SPOKANE, Wash. — Several pieces of art by local art gallery owner and Washington State University alumnus Conrad G. Bagley (general studies, ’82) are on display in the main floor atrium hallway at the WSU Intercollegiate College of Nursing Spokane campus.

Bagley hopes these particular works will inspire hope and peace. “These works are representations of man’s interaction with his world and the different dilemmas that are faced in our world and among ourselves,” he said. 

The exhibit is free and open to the public. The works in oil, acrylic, steel and glass will remain on display through Nov. 18. in the Magnuson Nursing Building, 2917 W. Fort George Wright. The building hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Bagley is the proprietor of A Cats Eye Gallery, located at 225 W. Indiana in Spokane. The gallery specializes in art by local artists. 

The WSU Intercollegiate College of Nursing displays artwork year-round from artists affiliated with WSU or one of the consortium institutions that include Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga University and Whitworth College.

Established in 1968, the WSU Intercollegiate College of Nursing is fully-accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The college is the nation’s oldest and most comprehensive nursing education consortium and is the largest college of nursing in the Northwest.
