Piano Accompanist Needed for Children’s Production

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum will conduct auditions for a piano accompanist to rehearse and perform with the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “The Jungle Book.”



The performances are scheduled for 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. 


 


The accompanist will need to attend rehearsals from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 4-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, and from 4-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. The mentioned times are tentative and subject to change. The accompanist will be paid $150-$250, depending on experience.



The Missoula Children’s Theatre auditions area school children for its productions and typically casts 50-60 for parts. They rehearse the week before the Saturday performances. This year, the theatre will have more than 50,000 children participate worldwide.
