WSU’s Backyard Project Delayed

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Student Recreation Center Backyard Project start has been delayed while university officials be re-bid in January. The project is now expected to be completed in early summer.

The project will consist of four sand volleyball courts, three outdoor-lighted basketball courts, storage, restrooms and shower facility.  The 2003-04 Student Services and Activities Facilities fees have provided the funds for this project.

University Recreation will operate the new facility.  Questions about the SRC Backyard project can be directed to Sean Greene, assistant director, University Recreation at (509) 335-2305.
