Poetry Reading – Open Mic At WSU Tri-Cities October 29

TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Four poets will read from their works on the Washington State University Tri–Cities campus in north Richland Friday evening, October 29.

The event also features an open microphone session for anyone wishing to read his or her poetry.

Beginning at 8:00 p.m. in the East Building Auditorium at WSU Tri–Cities, the event is being coordinated by Leonard Orr, professor of English and President of the Washington Poets Association.

Featured readers include: Matt Gano of Seattle, Melissa Holmes from the Tri-Cities, Professor Terry Martin of Central Washington University and Stephen “Rox” Roxborough of Anacortes.

All four poets are widely published with their work appearing in such publications as Calyx, Prairie Schooner, Quarterly West and the Spoon River Poetry Review.

The event is open to the public, free of charge. The WSU campus in Richland is located at 2710 University Drive. Take George Washington Way to the lighted campus entrance sign at the intersection with Sprout Road and turn right.
