The 7:30 p.m. concert will be at Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Maroon 5 is widely recognized for the blend of rhythm and blues and funk in its rock songs. Best known for the song “Harder to Breathe,” the groups latest release, “This Love,” off its CD “Songs About Jane,” is receiving play on both radio and MTV2.  The band’s soul-infused rock rifts have made them a favorite in the Los Angeles club scene thanks in large part to its unique style.

Maroon 5 has opened for a number of acts, including O.A.R., Sheryl Crow and John Mayer.

The ASWSU SEB and Beasley Coliseum are sponsors of the event.  For more information about Maroon 5, visit its Web site at www.maroon5.com.
