Jay Leno Will Entertain at Dad’s Weekend

PULLMAN, Wash. — Jay Leno, comedian and late-night television host, will be a featured performer Oct. 25 during Dad’s Weekend at Washington State University.

Leno’s performance is tentatively set for 8:30 p.m. in the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum. Tickets will go on sale the first day of class, Aug. 25. Prices are $31 and $34, depending on seat location. The event will follow a football game that pits the WSU Cougars against the Oregon State Beavers.

Leno is best known as host of the Emmy Award-winning “Tonight Show” on NBC-TV. After hosting the top-rated program for more than 10 years, Leno has created his own, unique style with a combination of humor, talk and entertainment, critics said.

For the past 20 years, Leno has appeared in hundreds of comedy shows around the United States. He is passionate about performing in front of live audiences and appears regularly in Las Vegas, on college campuses and other venues.

He has published three books, including “Leading With My Chin,” “Headlines,” featuring funny newspaper headlines, and “Police Blotter,” a book of humorous newspaper clips involving police stories.

Leno lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Mavis. In his spare time, he works on his collection of classic cars and motorcycles.
