Washington State University’s fall theatre line-up consists of three productions.
The first program of the semester is the STAGE One production that spotlights four student-written and student-directed one-act plays. It will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 3 – 6 at Wadleigh Theatre in Daggy Hall.
The next play is “Titus Andronicus,” directed by Stan Brown, at 8 p.m. Oct. 25 – 27 and Nov. 1 – 3 at Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall. It is a futuristic Shakespearean tragedy rated R for mature audiences. Look for a “Halloween Special” to be included in the second week’s dates.
The final program for the fall semester is WSU’s annual dance extravaganza, “Awakenings,” at 8 p.m. Nov. 30 – Dec. 1. The performance will take place at Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall and will be directed by Phyllis Gooden-Young. All tickets for this performance are $5; there are no graduate and professional student discounts.
The Theatre Box Office is open for ticket sales Tue – Fri, 2 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. the week of the performance. The box office will also open one hour before each production for additional sales. Unless otherwise specified, tickets are $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, $5 for students with WSU ID and free for graduate and professional students and their domestic partners.
