The brainy bunch

WSU undergraduates will help local elementary students understand the importance and function of their brains at the annual hands-on Brain Awareness Week Kids Judge! event 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Beasley coliseum.

The children will judge brain models developed by undergraduate students in the neurophysiology course. Models will cover a variety of topics, including brain electrical currents, the blood-brain barrier, hearing, taste and memory.

WSU volunteers will assist kids with the activities.
