Holiday children’s stories, fun music

RICHLAND — Holiday children’s stories, plus music by Wiggle Like A Fish, will be shared at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at WSU Tri-Cities.

Retired educator Hank Sauer of Kennewick will read “The Polar Express.” WSU Tri-Cities education professors Terry Young and Barbara Ward will read other holiday stories.

Between stories, children can get up and dance to special kid-friendly music performed by WSU alumnus Tory Christensen and his Wiggle Like A Fish Group (www.wigglelikeafish.com). Christensen is accompanied by a 6-foot-tall fish.

The hour-long story time is sponsored by the WSU Tri-Cities College of Education. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Dec. 4 event will be at WSU Tri-Cities in the Consolidated Information Center, 2770 University Drive, Richland. For driving directions, go to www.tricity.wsu.edu and click on “visit.”
