Presentations feature student research, solutions

Freshman Seminar students will present research projects on many of today’s major issues at their Research Seminar from 3 – 5 p.m. Thursday, April 24, on the fifth floor of the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education.

From collegiate athletics and its impact on the environment of WSU to homelessness in Eastern Washington, the students have worked throughout the semester to research solutions to the problems and issues surrounding these and other topics. Nineteen classes will present their findings.

One student will represent his/her class and present the website to viewers at the symposium.

Refreshments will be served throughout the event, and guests are encouraged to ask questions and evaluate the projects.
