Greg Royer will resume his duties as vice president for business affairs for Washington State University as of Nov. 1, for a three-year term.
Royer retired from the university on Oct. 1. Having completed 30 years of full-time service at Washington State University, Royer had reached the highest level of retirement benefits he can achieve under the PERS 1 retirement system.
At the time, WSU President V. Lane Rawlins said he hoped to negotiate an agreement with Royer by which he would resume his service to the university, as is permitted by state law. With Royer’s return, Glenn Ford, who had served as interim vice president for business affairs, will resume his duties as associate vice president for business and finance and associate vice president for student affairs administration.
