Alumni return for reunion event

One hundred Washington State University alumni returned to Pullman this week for the Diamond and Golden Grad Reunion, which is taking place Wednesday, April 20 and Thursday, April 21.

About 75 Golden Grads, celebrating their 50th WSU graduation reunion, and about 25 Diamond Grads, celebrating their 60th reunion, checked in at the Lewis Alumni Centre Wednesday morning before reuniting with old classmates and embarking on reunion activities.

Reunion activities include a luncheon with college constituents, tours and open houses, social hours, Veterans Memorial and class of 1955 gift presentations, and banquets. Wednesday evening, Golden Grads will converge at the Alumni Centre for a welcome reception dinner, while Diamond Grads will meet at the President’s House for a dinner of their own.

Shuttles will run from the Compton Union Building to the Alumni Centre on both days. For more information, contact the Alumni Centre at 335-2586.
