Veterans host memorial for former student

Washington State University veterans will hold a candlelight vigil in memory of 1st Lt. Jaime Campbell at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2. Participants are asked to meet at the CUB at 3:45 p.m. to pick up candles, then walk together to the WSU Veterans Memorial.

Campbell was aboard the Black Hawk helicopter that went down in northern Iraq on Jan. 7. She graduated from WSU with a degree in Apparel, Merchandising and Textiles in December 2002. She was a member of the WSU Army ROTC program.

Elsie Chiles, Col. James Zuba and Sgt. Heather Fuller will speak at the service. Everyone is welcome.
