Workshops address faculty performance

Faculty performance, particularly concerning tenure and promotion, will be discussed at workshops hosted by Fran McSweeney, regents professor of psychology and vice provost for faculty affairs. This is part of an effort to increase the transparency of faculty personnel policies.

Interested faculty members are encouraged to attend, especially those just beginning their careers at WSU and those who will come up for an important evaluation soon.

The workshop will be given twice: 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, and 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27. Sessions will be accessible to all campuses via Academic Media Services (formerly WHETS) and via videostreaming.

For location details for all campuses, see www.hrs.wsu.edu/tenure
