Incoming president Floyd to visit campuses Feb 6-13

Elson S. Floyd, recently selected to be the 10th president of Washington State University, effective July 1, 2007, will be visiting and touring the WSU campuses Feb. 6-9 and 12-13.

Since Floyd’s selection, the President’s Office has been deluged with requests for meetings from students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni and the public. As a result, his schedule is already full. However, the President’s Office is collecting requests for Floyd’s future visits.

The university and communities are invited to attend any of the welcome receptions noted below.
 
Friday, Feb. 9
* 3:30-5 p.m., WSU Pullman reception, Lighty first-floor atrium.

Monday, Feb. 12
* 10-10:30 a.m., WSU Spokane press conference, Academic Center 501.
* 10:30-noon, WSU Spokane reception, Academic Center first-floor atrium.
* 3-3:30 p.m., WSU Tri-Cities press conference, Consolidated Information Center, second floor.
* 3:30-5 p.m., WSU Tri-Cities reception, Consolidated information Center 120.
 
Tuesday, Feb. 13
* 10-10:30 a.m., WSU Vancouver press conference, Student Services/Administration Building 236.
* 10:30-noon, WSU Vancouver reception, Student Services/Administration Building 129.
