Showcase 2007 draws crowd

Showcase 2007 kicked off Friday morning, March 23, in Bohler Gymnasium, with 331 research exhibits by faculty, research staff and graduate students.

Employees from throughout the Pullman community, as well as visitors, attended the event to get thumbnail glimpses and presentations about the many fascinating topics that WSU individuals and teams are researching.

Topics covered the spectrum from Beethoven to nuclear research, methamphetamine addiction, restaurant productivity, cloning, ethics and more.

This afternoon and evening (Friday) the celebration continues with a reception for retirees, 3:30-5 p.m. at the Lewis Alumni Centre, followed by a banquet dinner 5:30 p.m. at Beasley coliseum honoring award winning faculty and staff.
