Fluor announces freshman scholarship

Richland, Wash. — Fluor has pledged a $6,000 scholarship package for an incoming freshman at Washington State University Tri-Cities and the Fluor Foundation is announcing a dollar-for-dollar matching program for employee donations to WSU Tri-Cities.

The Fluor freshman scholarship is donated on behalf of the Fluor Corporation, Fluor Hanford and the Fluor Government Group. In addition, Fluor is providing two internships for WSU Tri-Cities freshmen plus two internships for Columbia Basin College students transferring to WSU Tri-Cities through the Bridges program. Fluor also plans to provide mentors for the incoming WSU Tri-Cities freshmen.
