Patricia Hunt, professor in the School of Molecular Biosciences, made the Scientific American magazine list of top 50 research investigators for 2007 for innovative research showing the adverse effects through three generations of even small amounts of the chemical bisphenol A.
 
• Communications professor Bruce Pinkleton has been named the 2007 Educator of the Year by the Greater Spokane Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for his “commitment to students, ongoing research and passion for the profession.”

Linda Boynton Arthur, professor and curator, design and textiles, is in the recent edition (Vol. 62) of the Who’s Who in America, for her research on Hawaiian textiles and work as an expert witness regarding contested copyright violations of Hawaiian prints.
