Rural healthcare conference in Spokane

The largest Northwest gathering of rural health professionals is set for March 19 – 21, 2008 at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park in Spokane.
 
More than 300 rural health administrators and advocates will meet at the NW Regional Critical Access Hospital Conference on Wednesday and the NW Regional Rural Health Conference Thursday and Friday.
 
NW Regional Critical Access Hospital Conference:
 
This 6th annual conference is designed specifically for CAH administrators, staff, clinicians and boardmembers. Experts will present on quality/performance improvement, billing, rural workforce, health information technology, CMS, board development, models of rural care delivery and more.

NW Regional Rural Health Conference:
 
“Creating a Thriving Rural Workforce, Health System, and Community”, the Northwest’s largest conference on rural health. Keynote speakers include WA Governor Christine Gregoire; Mary Wakefield, PhD, RN, Center for Rural Health & Health Sciences School of Medicine, University of North Dakota; Clinton MacKinney, MD, Stroudwater Associates; and a panel of Northwest Health Leaders moderated by Mary Selecky, Washington’s Secretary of Health.
