Student entertainment board presents poetry

PULLMAN – WSU Student Entertainment Board (SEB) will have its first night-time special showcase on June 3.

Slam poet Mike McGee will perform at 7 p.m. in the Wadleigh Theater in Daggy Hall. The event is free, open to the public, and there may be explicit language.

McGee is an international performer, speaker, slam poet and comic. His talent has enabled him to compete and win slams in Europe, across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

He began performing comedy and poetry to audiences in 1998. Since then he has won several championships and appeared on an episode of Russell Simmons’ Presents Def Poetry Jam on HBO.
