Extension Engaged to feature Small Business Development Center

Extension Engaged, The monthly webcast produced by WSU Extension, will feature a look at the WSU Small Business Development Center’s statewide business assistance activities on Dec. 19.

Guests will include John Gardner, WSU Vice President for Economic Development and Extension, and Brett Rogers, Director of the Small Business Development Center. Two SBDC advisors and clients will also appear via videotaped interviews.

The Program will begin at 10 a.m. at the WSU Extension/CAHNRS teleconferencing studio, room T-101 in the Food Science and Human Nutrition Building. All WSU faculty and staff are invited to be members of the studio audience, but are asked to be in their seats by 9:45 a.m. All cell phones, pagers, and PDAs should be turned off.
 
Off-campus faculty and staff can view the program via a live video stream by going to the Extension Communications and Educational Support Video streaming site online @ http://eces.wsu.edu/video/stream.html. Find the program title, scroll down to the bottom of the program description and click on the preferred media player icon to launch the video stream. The signal will be available 15 minutes prior to the event.
 
There will be an opportunity for questions from both the studio audience and those watching via technology during the broadcast. There will be toll-free numbers and an email provided during the program for viewers to send in questions for the guests.
 
“Extension Engaged” is produced monthly during the academic year by the Communications and Educational Support unit of WSU Extension.
