Attend the 6th annual Battle of the Bands

PULLMAN – The WSU Student Entertainment Board will host its 6th annual Battle of the Bands at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 10, in the CUB Senior Ballroom. This event is free of charge.

“The event is shaping up to include acts with the highest level of talent we’ve seen to date. The atmosphere is always one of excitement and competitive fun, so don’t miss this opportunity to watch bands go head-to-head for prizes,” said SEB Concerts Programmer Christian Kollgaard.

Eight bands will perform acts ranging in style from punk to folk to pop. Kollgaard believes this is a great way to enjoy diverse local and regional music. The bands will face a panel of judges and audience voting and participation is strongly encouraged. Winning bands will receive prizes including an invitation to perform at WSU’s annual spring music festival on Saturday, April 25.

Kollgaard said SEB is expecting 500 people in attendance. Members from the WSU basketball team will be attending the event to sign autographs and interact with attendees. In addition, EA games will have a gaming area set up for students to use.
