Free parking for shoppers and diners at the CUB after 5 p.m.

PULLMAN – The CUB is offering a free parking validation service to its evening patrons.

Customers visiting the CUB after 5 p.m. who make a retail purchase of $8 or more may present their receipt to the information desk, where they will receive a parking validation coupon.
The parking validation coupons are valid in the Smith Center (CUE) parking garage only and cover the $2 cost of parking. The coupons are valid for the date of purchase only and customers need to enter the parking garage after 5 p.m. to receive free parking.

The purpose of the “After  5” parking campaign is to improve convenience for customers in the evening by making parking easier and vendors within the CUB more accessible. Currently, 17 percent of the CUB’s total traffic uses the building after 5 p.m., a percentage that could be improved with more parking options near the CUB.

“We started the validation coupon service to increase evening traffic to the CUB and to make the CUB an accessible place for the community to visit,” said Ryan Lahne, associate director of event services and operations in the CUB.
