Entertainment will be provided by the Cougar Marching Band with musical performances by campus fraternities, sororities and residence halls. Appearances by President V. Lane Rawlins, the Cougar mascot Butch, the WSU Spirit Squad and Dance Team, as well as Cougar football captains and head football coach Bill Doba are also scheduled. Special guest performers include Tina “DJ Special-T” Turnbull and E-Drid, who will perform his song “Go Cougs” as featured on radio stations ZFUN 106.1 and KUBE 93.
“We’ve changed a few things this year,” said Mark Dinges, SAC adviser and alumni coordinator for the WSU Lewis Alumni Association. “We’ve invited more performers and changed the program to appeal more to our alumni and fans coming to
“Don’t forget to wear your crimson to the pep rally and game,” Dinges said. SAC members encourage everyone to wear their games shirt and to help create a sea of crimson at all Cougar athletic events.
Founded in 1982, the SAC organizes events to encourage students to take an active role in sustaining and creating traditions at WSU. Its purpose is to provide a “link to the future” for current students in becoming members of the WSU Alumni Association.
