India Subject of Art a la Carte Lecture

PULLMAN, Wash.Washington State University’s Art a la Carte, a brown-bag noon lecture series, will present an Oct. 21 presentation on India, given by WSU faculty member Paul Brians and Trevor Bond, WSU Library’s Special Collections. 

Brians’ photographs, a part of the library’s World Civilizations Image Repository, include the unique architecture of the Taj Mahal, small rural villages and much more. 

This program will be held in conjunction with the “India Unveiled” exhibit at the Compton Union Building gallery and the Museum of Anthropology from Oct. 19 through Nov. 12.

Upcoming Art a la Carte programs include an Oct. 28 lecture on life and art by Patrick Siler from the WSU fine arts department and a Nov. 4 lecture by Marty Mullen on design and color in Moroccan art and life

All Art a la Carte lectures are in the CUB Cascade Room 123. All Programs are free and open to the public.
