WSU Therapeutic Horsemanship Program Offers Session

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Palouse Area Therapeutic Horsemanship Program is offering another session beginning April 8.

The program will offer evening classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until April 30.

PATH is a program that provides recreational and therapeutic horseback riding for people with physical and mental disabilities. The program, offered under the College of Veterinary Medicine at WSU, is supported by the Pullman and Moscow United Way and the Stepping Stones Foundation.

The PATH program is also looking for volunteers. There will be an informational meeting on March 31 at 5:30 p.m. in the Animal Disease Biotechnology Facility, Room 1002. Those interested in volunteering must attend a training session on April 1 at 5:30 p.m. All new volunteers must attend both these meetings. No experience is necessary.
