Designs for ‘The Game Shirt’ 2004 Now Being Accepted

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Game Shirt, a fan shirt worn to increase Cougar Pride at Washington State University athletic events by creating a “sea of crimson,” is gearing up for its second annual debut.

The Student Alumni Connection, in cooperation with the Student Book Corporation and WSU athletics marketing, is coordinating a contest to design The Game Shirt 2004. The winning artist will receive a yearlong WSU sports pass and a $500 gift certificate from the Bookie.

SAC will judge the submitted designs and narrow the field to two, which will be judged by WSU’s varsity head coaches. The winner will be announced, and the design will be unveiled in the fall.

Students interested in entering the contest can get a design form online at www.wsu.edu/~sac. The entry deadline is April 2.
