PULLMAN, Wash. — Lauren Grossman will present a brown-bag lecture on her artwork Monday, March 30, from noon-1 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building conference room.
Grossman, a sculpture artist who lives and works in Seattle, creates visual narratives which focus on “the peculiarities and sentimentalities of the Judeo-Christian imagery.” In her work, Grossman “hopes to create a sense of vulnerability — of human beings tending their sores and somehow going on.”
Grossman is represented by the William Traver Gallery in Seattle and has exhibited her work nationally in several collections, including University of Washington, Microsoft, Matthews Center and Arizona State University.
