PULLMAN, Wash.–The annual Electrical Engineering Employment Exposition (E4) at Washington State University Feb. 10 will have representatives from 40 national and regional firms and organizations.
The event, sponsored by the student chapter of IEEE, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the halls of the Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Building on Spokane Street.
The exposition is geared to attract students interested in engineering — primarily electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science — and other high-tech career pursuits, said Troy Cox, chair. Companies will conduct recruiting interviews Feb. 11, and Cox advises students to have their resumes ready.
Employers participating include IBM, Air Touch Cellular, Andersen Consultants, Battelle Northwest Laboratories, Sandia National Labs and Boeing, as well as locally prominent firms such as Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and Advanced Hardware Architectures.
Additional information about the program can be obtained from Troy Cox, 335-6168.
