Members of the Washington State University community can honor their coworkers who did exceptional work last year by nominating them for the Governor’s Outstanding Leadership Awards.

Public employees who excelled by leading with integrity, inspired others and delivered measurable results are recognized annually with the governor’s awards.

WSU employees seeking to nominate their peers are asked to reach out to Human Resource Services to ensure all the nomination requirements are provided as part of the process.

Three WSU employees were nominated for awards last year, with Matthew Jefferies, assistant dean of students and director of student accommodations and disabilities resources, being among those recognized by Gov. Bob Ferguson in September.

The nomination window is open through May 29.  More information about the nomination process and the awards is available on the Washington Governor’s website.
