PULLMAN, Wash. — The fifth annual Washington State University Campus on the Run will donate its proceeds this year to the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute Watershed Restoration Program.
The 5K run/walk, co-sponsored by Intramural Sports, Health and Wellness Services-Wellness Programs and the Community Service Learning Center, is set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Student Recreation Center parking lot. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
The PCEI Watershed Restoration program is dedicated to restoring Paradise Creek along the Chipman Trail by bringing community volunteers, students and service groups together to plant trees and shrubs native to the Palouse.
Last year more than 400 participants from the WSU community participated in Campus on the Run to help donate more than $1,000 to Pullman’s food banks through the Community Action Center.
The fee will be $10 for students and $13 for faculty, staff and spouse/partners. The last day to register and be guaranteed a T-shirt is March 15. Registration costs after March 15 are $12 for students and $15 for faculty, staff and spouse/partners. The final day to register is April 3.
