VANCOUVER, Wash. — Paintings by local artist and educator Lee Baughman are on display in the Student Services gallery at Washington State University Vancouver through the end of April.
The exhibit features Baughman’s combination watercolor and charcoal paintings reflecting the energy and uniqueness of Northwest coast waves breaking against the rocky shoreline. The show also features paintings from his travels.
Baughman teaches classes through Clark College’s community education and teaches workshops in the Pacific Northwest. He also leads artists on trips to locations such as Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico. As a past president of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society, Baughman also is involved in the local art community. Gallery 21 in Vancouver represents him.
The gallery is open during building hours – Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
