Network service interruptions expected during ITS maintenance, Sept. 22–26

Information Technology Services (ITS) is completing scheduled network infrastructure upgrades at multiple WSU campuses, resulting in brief service interruptions.

Intermittent outages lasting 15 to 30 minutes are expected between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Sept. 22 at WSU Everett
  • Sept. 23 at Seattle TierPoint
  • Sept. 25 at WSU Vancouver
  • Sept. 26 at WSU Tri-Cities

Network services at or connected to these locations may be temporarily unavailable during the listed timeframes. Network-dependent services between campuses may also be affected.

No action is required, but WSU faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to plan ahead for possible disruptions.

An additional upgrade is scheduled for WSU Pullman on Jan. 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this extended maintenance window, intermittent 15- to 30-minute network outages may also occur. Because Pullman’s network infrastructure supports numerous systems across campuses, broader impacts are possible.
