Grads, undergrads eligible for Campus Civic Poet Award ($500)

The Campus Civic Poet Award ($500) recognizes a student’s commitment to poetry and civic engagement. Any undergraduate or graduate student enrolled on the WSU Pullman campus who intends to be enrolled for the upcoming academic year (fall and spring semesters) may apply.

Submit 3–5 poems of original work and a 200-word statement on your commitment to civic engagement, answering the question: How you would like to serve community on the WSU Pullman campus through poetry?

Apply online. Deadline is March 1.

The Campus Civic Poet Award is joint awarded by the MLK Program and the Department of English.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it.
