Now in its 23rd year, Showcase week at Washington State University is a celebration of faculty and staff and their contributions to the institution, its communities, the state, and beyond. Held this year the week of March 24–28, Showcase encompasses a wide array of events, highlighting WSU’s academic excellence.

“The intent of Showcase is to highlight and celebrate the incredible individuals that make WSU the institution it is today,” said Chris Riley-Tillman, provost and executive vice president. “Considering the ever-changing landscape that is higher education, it is more important now than ever before that we take the time to provide recognition to deserving individuals from across the WSU system.”

The anchor events for Showcase week include Three-Minute Thesis, a research communication competition where doctoral students distill their theses into three-minute presentations, and Academic Showcase, a research exhibition and poster session highlighting research, scholarship, and creative work from the WSU community. The week culminates with the Celebrating Excellence Banquet, an evening honoring 2025 faculty and staff awardees and newly tenured and/or promoted faculty.

A comprehensive schedule with more details about the week’s events is available online.
