WSU Board of Regents hosting special meeting in Pullman Feb. 6

PULLMAN, Wash. — Members of the Washington State University Board of Regents will gather in Pullman for a special meeting beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6.

Board members are expected to discuss proposed contracts related to the position of university president before taking action. Regents authorized Board Chair Lisa Keohokalole Schauer to enter into negotiations with the board’s preferred finalist, who has been publicly identified only as Candidate B, during their January meeting in Seattle.

The meeting will take place inside rooms 210–212 of the Compton Union Building, 1500 Glenn Terrell Mall, on the Pullman campus. Members of the public are invited to attend in-person or watch the proceedings via livestream.

Prior to the discussion and action on the presidential contract, the board will hold time for public comment. Those wishing to address the board are asked to register ahead of time via the WSU Board of Regents website.
