Students, researchers, and industry represents will travel to the Pullman campus next week for this year’s Northwest Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society.
The conference will run from June 23–26 and include workshops, panel discussions, career sessions, and an awards dinner at Palouse Ridge Golf Club. On June 22, the Washington-Idaho Border Section of ACS will also be organizing a chemistry activities events for kids ages 3–12 at the Palouse Discovery Science Center from 1–3 p.m.
This year’s event in Pullman is being hosted by the Washington-Idaho Border Section of ACS, a cooperative venture led by WSU and the University of Idaho. The organization is led by General Chair Zachariah Heiden, who serves as the associated director of WSU’s Nuclear Science Center.
