Washington State Senator Noel Frame to speak at Hoops Tax Institute Forum

Washington state Senator Noel Frame is the 2024 keynote speaker for the Hoops Taxation Research and Policy Institute’s spring forum. She will discuss her legislative work to increase fairness in the Washington state tax system from 5:30–6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 1, in Spark G45 on the Pullman campus.

The presentation is open to the public and will be livestreamed on Zoom.

Frame is an award-winning legislator, having been honored more than 15 times for her work advocating for youth involved in the foster care and juvenile criminal legal systems, individuals challenged by intellectual, developmental, and behavioral disabilities, and economic development and reforming the state’s tax code.

She serves as the Chair of the House Finance Committee and is a member of the Appropriations and Community & Economic Development committees. In addition to her role in the state legislature, she serves as the director of policy and planning at BDS Planning & Urban Design, a small business located in Belltown.
