Marty Dickinson reappointed to WSU Board of Regents

Washington State University Board of Regents member Marty Dickinson will continue to serve on the governing body of the institution for another six-year term.

Dickinson was reappointed to the board by Washington Gov. Jay Inslee. Her new term officially begins Oct. 2.

“Serving the people of Washington is a real privilege and I hope you find this to be a rewarding experience,” Inslee wrote in his reappointment letter. “Thank you for continuing to be a vital part of what keeps Washington moving forward.”

Dickinson, a WSU graduate and Spokane native, joined the WSU Board of Regents in September of 2018. She brings to the board more than 27 years of experience in marketing, branding, communications, and organizational management, having served in executive roles with the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Spokane Partnership, Umpqua Bank, and STCU. Dickinson is also the immediate past chair of the WSU Board of Regents.

The WSU Board of Regents are next scheduled to meet in Vancouver Nov. 16–17. More information is available on the board’s website.
